Romkatel organized a technical seminar-“Measurement Instruments for Data Communications” on June 19, 2007 at Best Western Park Hotel. A special guest at this event was Mr. Matyas Bockl- a sales telecomunication engineer, who represented Anritsu company.

100 years of experience made Anritsu a leader on the market of test and measurement instruments, providing measurement solutions for:

- Radio and MW infrastructure
- Optical fiber and copper lines communications

Presentations regarding optical transport networks were held on this occasion- precisely concerning installation, maintenance and measurement of the Ethernet networks. Anritsu introduced also the new range of products for communication testing.

A mini-exhibition took place, where people could see and test some of the Anritsu measurement instruments:

1. Anritsu CMA5000- modular portable platform, used to test SDH/PDH, Ethernet, OTDR, CD, PMD
2. Anritsu CMA3000- portable compact instrument used to test the access interfaces
3. Anritsu MT9081D- mini-OTDR, 1310/1550nm, with power-meter, VFL and Ethernet/Gbit Ethernet
4. Anritsu MD1230D- modular laboratory platform, used for detailed tests of Ethernet/Gbit Ethernet and EoS (Ethernet-over-SDH) communication.

Mobile communications operators, internet services providers and other companies from this domain took part at this event.
