Recently, ROMKATEL delivered to a Romanian mobile communications operator a complete drive-test system from Anite, which allows the simultaneous monitoring of 3 operators (extendible to 5) and measures the voice quality for the uplink and downlink as well.

The system is based on the measuring system NEMO Outdoor and comes equipped with the NEMO Multi option, which allows the simultaneous control of up to 5 measuring terminals. The software runs on a notebook and it is connected to a measuring equipment that includes 3 audio modules, 3 Nokia N95 measuring terminals and a PC-TEL scanner.
The other main component of the system is a server on which runs a specialized software. The server is equipped with a 4 lines PSTN card and communicates with the measuring terminals from NEMO Multi. Due to this equipment, the system allows the simultaneous testing and benchmark of the voice quality of 3 operators.
