All the modern data
transmission systems are equipped with UTP, FTP or STP twisted pair
cables, with a 120 ohm impedance. The compatibility with older
systems, with coaxial cables and 75 ohm impedance hardware, can be
solved by the use of baluns (impedance adaptors).
Romkatel is able to
offer to its customers a variety of baluns from the ACANDE company’s
portofolio, which can transfer signals with frequencies up to 1 GHz,
maintaining the quality of the signal, between systems with
different connection types.
For coaxial cables
with 75 ohm impedance there are different types of connection such
as BNC, 1.6/5.6, BT 43, 1.0/2.3, APT 100, SMB, PAL, F, BPO, PIN or
SOCKET type and for twisted pair cables can be used different types
of connectors, for example IDC, RJ45, TELCO, D, PIN HEADER, in
single balun or dual balun combinations and patch-panel balun for
racks.
