Romkatel and Funkwerk, supported by Club Feroviar, will organize on Tuesday, 5th May 2009, the technical seminar „Telecommunication for a modern railway infrastructure”, event which will take place at Pullman Hotel (ex- Sofitel), Bucharest, starting at 11.00.

Currently, the requirements, in terms of providing a modern and reliable railway infrastructure, have grown considerably, making it necessary to implement GSM-R systems and, implicitly, telecommunication systems on the Romanian railway.

Thus, the seminar will focus on presenting new technologies used to create the telecommunication systems that meet all the requirements and presenting the benefits of implementing these systems.
