On February 24, 2010, at 12:50PM, the antenna manufacturer Kathrein Romania from Timisoara marked the production of the mobile communication antenna no. 800.000.

In the 10 years that have passed since the manufacturing of the first mobile communication antenna in Timisoara, the product range has seen a rising evolution, reaching today a number of 40 models, the production cadence per day being 1500 antennas. At this rate it is estimated to reach 1.000.000 units in autumn 2010. Currently, the production volume is mainly for exportation. Also, in 2010, the personnel of the plant in Timisoara reached 550 employees.
