Axell Wireless is the largest supplier in Europe for radio coverage solutions. Axell Wireless was founded in 2007 by merging AVITEC company from Sweden and Aerial Facilities Ltd from UK.
AVITEC produced the first repeater in the world in 1985. The project was conducted for the Swedish Police Department and it was aimed to ensure radio signal coverage in the subway in Stockholm. Today, the radio spectrum of the subway in Stockholm includes PMR services for the police, firemen, train operators and also for mobile operators (GSM/ UMTS and DCS).

Today, Axell Wireless (represented in Romania by Romkatel) provides repeaters for over 200 GSM / EDGE / WCDMA service providers worldwide.
With an unique design, extended experience and special attention to the design of the repeaters, Axell Wireless is today the largest producer in the world.
The company is ISO 9001 certified and its products meet ETSI and CE regulations.

Their latest achievement is the digital repeater, which converts the RF analogue input signal into a digital signal, this is processed and in the end it is reconverted into an analogue signal, amplified and sent to the distribution antenna. The digital filtering system allows the use of up to 12 filters, each having the possibility of independent control of the gain and bandwidth, in this way being possible, for example, to use the repeater for GSM 900 and WCDMA 900 simultaneously. Another advantage is that this repeater can be used by several operators simultaneously, each having the possibility to make independent adjustments.

Such a repeater has the following main features: Axell 3009D - 900 MHz Software Defined Repeater, 25 dBm composite output power, 82 dB Gain, 12 sub-bands, individual gain and ALC, bandwidth settable by software IP65 rated enclosure.

Higher power and / or DCS, UMTS, TETRA frequency versions are available.
